They are both basically the same drug. Ergo the contra-indications will be similar. The ingested intake of either/both should be discontinued gradually, not abruptly. You may experience some mild physical discomfort symptomatic to 'withdrawal'.
It seems both have equal potential for this. There is physical dependence as well, meaning both really need to be withdrawn gradually (if used for longer than a week). Stopping suddenly may cause withdrawal symptoms. Hope it helps. Good luck!
