Question:

Lucas transmission additive?

What is the best method for adding nonslip additive to trans? Has fresh fluid in it already

Answer:

People go to medical school for that.
Buy a bottle of it and add it to the fluid, simple as that. It might put it a touch over full but it will be ok.
Don't overfill the transmission; that can stress the seals .Fluid is added to the dipstick tube housing for the transmission.
I have not use Lucas transmission products, but it would be added through the same fill tube as for checking the fluid level. I have, however, used/am using Lucas ethanol eliminator in my gas tank and it has encreased my mileage by about 6/7 mpg. Everytime I fill the tank, I see how many gallons it took and add the corresponding amount of ethanol eliminator ( 1oz for every 5 gals). It takes about two fillups before you realize any increase in the mpg.
