Great Stuff expands greatly , were you thinking of insulating your pipes with it, or just a spray or two to keep the pipes from rattling when water runs through? It is safe to use if that is your question; otherwise, you need a solid surface for it to cling to the outer edges or it will just fall to the floor or ground and you will lose most of it.
