Question:

magnetic question.physics.?

Answer:

It is called a domain and randomly distributed domains show no magnetism
um putting your watch or ring to them nd which ever one it sticks to is the magnet, nd copper usually has a reaction to paint so it'll b a different color, or u can scratch of the paint nd see which one has the color of copper nd then u'll know which one the iron is:) hope i helped
first choice, because this is the defination of a domain, and a lot of domains randomly oriented lead to no magnetic behavior.
