OkI am making a Checker Board CakeI have made it twice today and it wont come out right and I am getting really frustrated.Problem 1 - I poured the two different batters into the different sections in the pan like im supposed to.but when I put it in the oven to bake the different batters seperate from eachother so, there are gaps in the cakeWhat do I do?Problem 2 - When I try to stack the three layers on top of eachother, they start to break into piecesHow do I prevent that.Also, to make the cake not stick to the pan, should I use wax paper or foil? (I dont have any Pam)

Mark, the first thing you do is look at your Lease there should be a stipulation in it that says you have a right to the Quiet Enjoyment of your Apartment the Apartment that you pay your landlord Rent for Every Month I have been having the same problem you are having for the past three or four years myself and I will tell you that I fully believe that my landlord is behind the continued harassment that has been directed at me because I Filed a lawsuit against him in the past and this is his way of reprisal He moved in some uncivilized acting tenants (Twice) over my head who stomped and marched and dropped heavy weights over my head at 3 in the morning and slammed their door repeatedly but I wrote him a letter and had It noterized and forced him to take action against these tenants and they were eventually moved somewhere else but the key is for you to document everything concerning this situation and have your letters and papers noterized so no one can say they did'nt know what was happening another reason I believe this is being purposefully done is because all these people are friends as well as a lot of others who live in my building but anyway we have to get our needs met so that we can live in some semblance of peace also get yourself some earplugs wishing you Love and Peace I will be praying for you and you do the same for me bye
