Question:

Measure the motor insulation resistance operating part with a ohmmeter

Measure the motor insulation resistance operating part with a ohmmeter

Answer:

Use megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance, usually 500 volt megger motor to below 500 volts voltage; 500 to 1000 volt motor with 1000 volt megger.
2500 volt megger motor to above 1000 Volts voltage. The motor in the hot state (75 C) under the condition of small and medium voltage motor insulation resistance value should be not less than 500 billion ohms, the insulation resistance of high voltage motor stator voltage / Kv value should not be less than 1 megohm insulation resistance / kV voltage rotor winding, a minimum of not less than 500 billion Europe; two motor insulation resistance should not be less than 1 megohm.
In general, the insulation resistance of motor is measured by the ohmmeter. The insulation resistance between each phase winding and each phase winding and casing is measured to judge the insulation performance of the motor.
