I was given my Aunts super light beige microfiber sectional. She had it professionally cleaned regularly. It looks so dingy and I have tried to clean it myself using Oxy clean with my shampooer but it still looks dingy when its dry. I cant afford to have it professionally cleaned regularly so how can I get it to look nice on my own? I heard you can use the carpet foam cleaner, the ones with the brush on them but I havent tried that yet.
If you read the tag it says W or SW. That means water or soap and water. Microfiber is a polyester. A mild laundry detergent mixed with water is all you need. Dip a cloth into the solution and wring out the cloth. You don't want it soaked. Rub the stain and let dry. Brush with a bristle brush after it is dry.
