Question:

missing my pcv valve?

I noticed when I pulled my pcv valve off the valve cover the entire guts were missing. what would this make the car run like?

Answer:

It would just make a bunch of oil pool up in the intake. If it was plugged it could damage seals.
Will run at higher idle and suck all the oil out of engine, then run bad until engine locks up and exhaust would be smoking like crazy. plus other things. Suggest you replace and check oil level.
what it really is is a check valve it will flow one way but not the other meaning it lets the motor vent out pressure and no air or debris can be sucked or drawn in its better to have a functioning one cause it can affect performance overall cause it usually is working with emissions devices now to be honest replacing it is almost mandatory, but you actually might not notice any difference at all after its fixed
