I have a SG2 , if I go to maps it will tell me where I am .can other people see this if they want ? is there an app for tracking Mobile phones ? and if so how can I prevent this ?
Yes there are dozens of apps that allow other people to track your phone. To prevent it just dont allow other suspicious people use your phone and put a passcode on it. Thats it.
The phone uses wifi/cell phone tower locations when the GPS is off. Nobody else can see where it is unless you make a posting map for where you were when you made the post. It does not track every step you make. If you have ATT Family map or something like it then who ever is in charge of paying your bill can see where the phone is. ~good luck
