Want to run for display. Very slow variable control so people can see operation clearly. Similar to a treadmill circuit but much lower HP. Would like control like rheostat for demonstration. DC motor preferred with transformer. Trying to keep cost at a minimum for the museum.
or if there are any manufacturing plants near you, someone might be ripping one out [or reducing spares inventory] and you could get it free.
