Question:

Motorcycle safety?

I've taken a motorcycle safety class and got my license, but I'm a beginning rider. I need to travel from Vegas to LA pretty often, and thought I'd get a motorcycle to get me there on a smaller amount of gas, but someone told me that it's too dangerous a drive for a beginner because of the desert winds. Can anyone give me some tips for riding in heavy winds?

Answer:

Don't register for clothes. People will never find the exact outfit you want and the stores change their inventory very often. I'd suggest putting a range of items that you need. Yes, a car seat may cost $80, but maybe grandma wants to spend that kind of money. A lot of people WANT to buy you the bigger things that you actually need and will use for a long time. They want to get you the stroller so you think of them when you use it. A good range of items is a good idea. Also, you only need to register for one pack of diapers. All people need to know is if you want Huggies or Pampers. If you have a theme for the baby's room, register for the stuff. Your plan to have a pink room with a flower theme your registry should reflect it so people can coordinate. Register for what is important to you. 60% of your guests will not shop off the registry, so for the ones who do, make each item count.
