Mud bentonite for Bored Pile
Mud bentonite is made of high quality bentonite, which is artificially made from sodium.
The mud is used to clear the cuttings, expel the gas, and then from the mud tank to the borehole, limiting the water in the formation into the borehole. An impermeable layer is formed on the hole wall to prevent water from entering the formation by drilling fluid. This thin impermeable layer has a certain strength and toughness. Only in this way can the corrosion of the borehole be prevented and the corrosion of the drill rod caused by grinding is prevented. During drilling, the change of electrolyte concentration requires little change in viscosity and thixotropy of the mud. This is not available in general mud, so the bored piles should be made of mud bentonite
In the course of rotary drilling, the mud must be kept in the hole. The mud passes through the hollow drill pipe from the pump to the bottom of the hole, flows out from the gap of the drill bit, and then goes up to the surface through the shaft wall and the annular space of the drill pipe and flows into the mud tank.
