I got a 1995 jeep cherokee. It has a car alarm but i do not have the transmitter. it was working fine with out it! but now when i try to star it, it will start to flash the head and tail lights and a blue light in the dash will start going off that saying security! i tryed to lock the door with the key and unlock it to get the lights to stop flashing! then as soon as i try to start it agen it will do it all over!
If you can't find a trasmitter, disconnect the alarm.
sounds like the engine is leaking green ooze which is preventing the alarm from working, get the green ooze fixed asap.
theres a purple wire with a fine black line down it under the dash on the drivers side behind the kick pannel, ground it out and it shuld dissable the alarm, worked for me i had the same prob
