Apparently my outside unit (American Standard) has aluminum coils which have a leak and are hard to repairIs it worth trying to fix or should I replace the entire system?
Slice potatoes about 3/4 in thick, rub oil, salt and minced garlic or garlic powder on them (paprika is optional)Bake for about one hradd 1/4 of water in the bottom of roasting pan.
DROP A LITTLE ROSEMARY, OREGANO, OR WHAT EVER HERB YOU LIKE, SALT (SEASON ALL) AND SOME FRESH GROUND PEPPER INTO A TEASPOON FULL OF VIRGIN OLIVE OIL ONTO A SQUARE OF FOIL, PLACE WASHED POTATOES IN THE MIDDLE, ROLL AROUND AND CLOSE/WRAP UPPUT IN OVEN FOR ABOUT 30 MIN AT 350 AND CHECK BY STABBING WITH A FORK OR KNIFE, UNTIL TENDERYOU CAN TAKE OFF FOIL AND BROIL FOR A MOMENT OR TWO AFTER TO MAKE THEM CRISPY ON OUTSIDE.
Roasted Herbed Potatoes.wash well, cut into eighths, drizzle with salad oil, salt, pepper and rosemarySpread out on a baking sheetBake 400 for about 45 mins., until tender.
I par boil my potatoes for 10 minutes and then put them in a baking tray that has the oil in and been preheatedSprinkle them with salt and any other seasoning you want and roast them for 30 - 40 minutes at about 220degrees which I think is gas mark 6 ish hope this helps
If you repair odds are another leak will appear before long due to age of the unitIn the long run you will save money by changing everything out with a new high rated seer unitI'm also thinking you will get a tax credit if you do it.Something to look into.Good Luck
