Okay, so I was at work today and my boss came to me claiming that i was stealing for the store. I was not. She also claims she has me on tape, i told her to show it to me, she says she doesn't have to. She also says i'm a bad employee because i talked bad about her, which is true, but i have the right to speak about anyone freely, it's a free country, And theres a law that says i can speak how i like. What can i do. Can i sue? Should i call the police? ANY ADVICE PLEASE!

Third gear is too high a gear to accelerate again after most speed bumps without lugging the engine. Shift back down into second gear or even first gear if the speed is low enough. While you can physically shift from first gear directly to fourth gear, it is not advised as you will not be going fast enough for fourth gear to efficiently accelerate the car and you will be lugging the engine. Lugging the engine is bad - it lessens fuel mileage and can damage engine and transmission parts in the long run. Use the gears the manufacturer provides. If you are too lazy to shift your car, buy a car with an automatic transmission.
Yes, having it thay high can mess the car up, shift down to at least 2nd gear and you should be fine. (:
