Question:

my Braces bracket flossing?

are you saposto floss around ur brackets and i try to floss in between my teeth and they are so tight that it hurts should i still floss

Answer:

It's used to hurt when I first got my braces on, but now it's easier. Um I think you could still try, but it the pain is excruciating, then stop - lol, don't torture yourself. And yes, I go under the brackets, then pull it up and it flosses perfectly.
I was reccomended not to try and floss while i has braces on, and instead use an interdental brush (also known as a TePe brush), and instead just clean behind and between each bracket every time i brush my teeth normally, but i think each orthodontist offers slightly different advice. and also, if it seriously hurts to floss, don't bother, its not absolutely essential, as long as you're cleaning your brace throroughly, and if your teeth space out more, it should become easier anyway.
you still have to floss when you have braces and the more you do it the less it hurts. Becuase i had braces and everytime i went they told me off cos i didnt floss! then as soon as i started flossing the next time i got them off :D and flossing will decrese ugly red puffy gums! xx
