I have a 2008 Toyota Corolla S I bought it in 2008. The alarm system came with the car from the dealer. And yes its a new car from the Toyota Dealer. Couple days ago the alarm starts to function weird. At random, when i turn on my car and turn the gear to R, N, or D. The alarm automatically set to on. Now my car keeps doing it once in a while. Anyone have any idea why it does that?
Is the car alarm dealer? or aftermarket? Because I know Toyota was installing karr alarm systems with their corolla and other series before and charging it as their alarm, but what could have happened is there could've been a short or something messed up the car alarm brain and that's why its reacting so strangely. Maybe water or something. If its an aftermarket alarm, it will typically be under the drivers area.
