It is a GMC Envoy XL 2005 My car alarm went off two nights ago and i did not realize it until the next day, now when i lock or unlock my car the chirp sounds lower than it used to. what can it be?I though maybe it would go away so i drove it around and it worked it sounded loud again. after i went back to my car it once again was a low chirp. what can i do?
Seems fairly unrelated and subjective. I doubt it really is any different. And if it is, that is not necessarily bad, but just different. All sound making devices change with time. The long and loud sound it had to make while going off as an alarm may have torn a diaphram or something in the speaker, but as long as you can still hear it, I don't see any point of concern. And it could not possibly be the car battery, because the starter uses 1000 times more current than a mere alarm.
Sounds like the alarm system weakend your battery. Get a good one from your local auto parts store.
Hyundai has a container restoration for this project on 07/08 Elantra. All they ought to do is to interchange the hood change rubber bumper. Its like a rubber piece that pushes the change all the way down to close the circuit. this way the BCM is conscious that hood is closed and might turn on the alarm. regrettably, this rubber piece is merely too short and frequently times it does not close the circuit. hence it tells BCM that hood is open and the alarm is going off. The section, despite the fact that if its no longer coated decrease than guarantee (which I doubt isn't) it expenses merely decrease than $2.
