I had a car alarm install in my car around 2years ago and everything seemed fine until recently i had to get the alternator replaced. At that point, my car alarm wont stop making noise. The alarm just goes off, whenevef it feels like (from my prospective). At first i thought there must be a fly or sumfin in the car. I spray insecticide and left it like that for a day to two. It went fine. But then it started making noises again. Im not sure whether the sensitivity is high or what has happened. Or whether the garage people accidently reseted the alarm system. But its annoying. Ive been told to go to the place ive had the alarm fixed and see if they can sort out the problem. But im not in that state to spend any more money to get something minor fix. When i can do that at home. So i was wondering, if anyone could provide some instructions how i could fix the sensitity manually.I couldnt find much on net. I have a cobra alarm.
your alarm isnt fully deactivated thats why its in panic mode and thinks someone is gonna break in thats why it goes off. its a bit like a failsafe only thing you can do is get someone to bypass the alarm or get in your car, open drivers door put key in ignition for ten seconds and press unlock on your car door or wherever it is a few times with lock an unlock both ways remember to leave your door open for it to reset locking device. that works on mine but could be different procedure on your car
Alarms on vehicles are really a pain at the best of times, I never switch mine on. The are troublesome, and even if they go off nobody takes any notice. If I were you, I'd have it disconnected.
Fruits and vegetables have few calories, and they're easy to burn off w/ light exercise. And some vegetables like avocados are high in healthy fats.
I wonder if I'm at risk, I eat a lot of red meat and leafy greens :S
Does the remotes work to the alarm? Be sure to arm and disarm the alarm when entering and exiting the vehicle. If your remotes are not working and you are using the key to lock and unlock the vehicle, that will set the alarm off, and it will keep going off every now and then because it was never disarmed. If that is not the problem, you can adjust the shock sensor. It will be a small plastic box somewhere near the steering column under the dash and will have an adjustment screw usually inside a little access hole. Normally, turning the screw counter clockwise will decrease the sensitivity. If you still have problems after adjusting the shock sensor, then it may need to be checked out by one of your local car alarm shops.
