I love my cat but I don't want my sofa smelling like pee. Is there anything I can do besides getting rid of my cat.
clean sofa well to get rid of smell, try buying a new litter and tray to help,is litter tray clean all times.is cat spayed
You really haven't provided any details. Is this new behaviour? Perhaps the cat has a UTI. In that case, see a vet. Is your cat marking territory? In that case, have it neutered/spayed. However, if your cat is older this may not stop the marking behaviour. Cats should be neutered/spayed at or before sexual maturity, by the age of 6 months at the latest. How are you cleaning your sofa? If you're not completely removing the smell, your cat will return to the spot. Try Nature's Miracle.
Of course you don't want to get rid of your cat. Make sure that when it pees on the sofa you clean it really well as cats smell is allot better then our own. If a cat can smell it's we it is more likely to pee there again. Make sure it knows where it's litter tray is and make sure the litter tray is clean. I hope this has helped and good luck. Also how old is your cat Has it always one this or has it started recently
Well if your cat hasn't been de-sexed de-sexing it will most likely help we had the same problem with our cat peeing all over the house and when we had him de-sexed he stopped
