Question:

My copper pipe in my bathroom has pinhole leaks in a few places. how can i fix it.?

i just had to buy a new pump and tank 3 weeks ago and not alot of money. what is the cheapest way i can fix my bathroom pipes.

Answer:

I have listed a pipe repair kit that works very, very good. As the other person stated, you then need to find out what is causing these leaks. Could be anything from electrolysis to PH problem in water, or something. Probably not a a pressure issue since the pipe (in my 30 plus year experience) would bubble and split, and this would take more pressure than a household pump could pressurize
They now have DOT 5, it is mixable with DOT 4 but 5 doesn't absorb as much water vapor as 4. If you are going to have to buy fluid, change all the fluids and go with DOT 5 OK. all BRANDS of DOT4 are mixable too, but 5 is better.
Any DOT 4 fluid will work. Just don't put DOT 3 or any other type of fluid in there.
if it is a few different places it may be a bigger problem such as the pipe corroding thin i would find the cause before addressing to issue. maybe some solder or epoxy until you can until you can find the real problem, but depending on what it is it may get worse and worse as time goes on.
suggest that you get a pressure sensitive control to reduce the water pressure from the pump to your pipes . to fix those pin hole leaks you must replace the bad copper tubes and that is the only way to do that correction
