Question:

What do I need to install a Chevy 350 V8 in a 1984 Nissan 300ZX?

My dad gave my a 1984 300ZX a few years ago and I have left it sitting for yearsI could try to make the repairs but my dad and I always talked about putting a 350ci engine in itI know that it's possible but I have had very little success finding any meaningful information about it.I just need to know if it would even be worth itIs there a lot of modification involved? What customizations would I need to do in order for it to work? What parts would I need to buy? How much would it cost to do this?EVEN THOUGH I HIGHLY DOUBT IT, I have heard that the 350 will bolt up to the Nissan transmission or that there is a conversion kit to make it fit.

Answer:

I am of the same school of thought as Nate MWhy go through all the trouble when you have a perfectly packaged 3.0L double overhead cam V6 all aluminum engine at your disposal? Forget putting a 350 in itGet the thing running and see what it will take to put twin turbos on itNow that will get you holding on to your beans.
