So I have 1999 jeep grand cherokee limited. Every time the doors locked and I go to unlock it manually the alarm goes off. And in order for it to stop I have to put the key in the ignition. (I have to do it manually cuz I don‘t have the unlock button that connects to your keys ) anyways. I did find the fuse box for the alarm.but that works the horn also. So if I take the fuse out the alarm doesn‘t work nor does the horn. And I need the horn. I‘m just really frustrated and I need help. It‘s very annoying.
There should be a switch inside the door that turns off the alarm when you unlock it with the key. Try unlocking the passenger side door (if there is a keyhole on that side, some cars don't have one).
