first off all im using on screen keyboard for this question,so its not a troll question i have a netbook its a samsung N150 plus, and the keyboard is crazy, when i typed o it types a buch of slashes, when i press x it gives me 2 v's, please help me!! Best answer gets 5 stars!!!!!!
it must have taken forever to type that with the onscreen keyboard 0.o and you should try getting a USB keyboard, preferably a corded one, and see if the keyboard is screwed up or if you have some weird virus or something.
You probably have the num lock key or one of the other functions keys turned on. Try switching it off and it should go back to normal. Check to see which one of the keyboard lights are on.
Unplug it, if there's any drivers for it - download and re-install, still ****** up? Buy a new one.
Definitely sounds like the keyboard is messed up. But you can try reinstalling drivers as a last resort. Assuming you are using Windows 7, go to Control Panel and find Device Manager. When that opens look for Keyboard in the list. Click that and choose UNINSTALL. Then restart your computer and see if it fixed you rproblem. If not, your keyboard is mechanically zonked.
