Question:

My kitchen is on fire, what do i do?

I had a pot of oil on the stove so i could deep fry some hot pockets(is really good, try it), when it started smoking then caught on fire. I threw it in the sink and turned on the tap but its still going and now the cabinets are on fire, What do i do?

Answer:

I don't remember what it's called but it's true. Mostly because of the heat it generates.
I don't know what it's called, but it can definitely happen. There is an exhibit in the Museum of Science in Boston that has a glass outline of a lightning bolt that formed when it struck sand.
It can be caused by very high water pressure, or your pipes have not been secured enough with pipe clips.
I'll do an occasional night ride, I follow most of the safety guidelines and some of the rules. I have a few sets of lights mounted on the handlebars (one primary and a second for backup or cruising under streetlights) and a rear battery tail light with a couple of modes of operation. I don't really keep to the streets when I'm out, so I tend to be on the stealth side of being visible. I like to ride some of the public trails after dark and it isn't in my itinerary to be found by rangers, police or thugs. I just place some black tape over the reflective tape I have and can remove it when I'm hitting the street. I keep a few feet of spare white tape to make some wheel reflectors when I need them. It is also a good idea to keep some sort of riot kit in your gear just in case some yahoos decide they can use the speed and protection of the car to play some games with you.
No. A type of glass is formed when lightning directly strikes sand but if you use a lightning rod to attract the lightning the metal will cause the heat from the flash to dissipate and so it will not have enough energy to melt the sand.
