Question:

My kitten won't stop playing in her litter box!?!?

I have a three month old kittenShe is great about using the litter box, but lately has started playing in the litterIs there any way I can get her to stop without discouraging her from using the litter box like she is supposed to? Thanks!

Answer:

Your the dog's master, you were the one being negligent.
You can sue anybody for anything anytime you desirewinning might be a different story.
I'm not sure about the dog's tail, but not having an emergency button would cause me to use the stairsThat is NOT a good thing MarthaI'm not sure who you would contact about that, but I'd be contacting somebodyFind out whoThere must be a law somewhere about this for public safety.
NoYou said elevators NORMALLY have sensorsThis does not mean that EVERY elevator has a sensorThis would be considered something you should have knownThis could also be considered negligence on your part because you should really know if the building you live in has sensors or notNot to mention in most leases, pets are 100% the owners responsibilityNo matter what.
As long as she's successfully using the litter box, I wouldn't worry about her playing in it However, I would try to distract her with other toysThey don't have to be expensive - try wadded up aluminum foil balls, or brown paper bagsShe's probably just bored, and scooping the litter around gives her something to doDefinitely DON'T take the suggestion to squirt her with water - she might think that she's not supposed to be in the litter box at all, and may start doing her business outside of the box It's a little much to ask a 3-month-old kitten to be sophisticated when it comes to her playThink about it - even human toddlers have been known to occasionally play with their own poo :)
