Question:

My LG virgin mobile phone wont turn on?

I have the LG virgin mobile phone (not the new one) and I turned it off to charge and then turned it back on but it only went to the Hello part and started loading up and then it just goes black and back to the Hello and just keeps repeating it! any ideas why??? I sent virgin mobile an email but they havnt replied yet!

Answer:

I had the same problem with my samsung intercept. Sometimes it was on the start up screen for an hour or two, and sometimes it was on the start up screen for a whole day. Honestly there are no tricks to solving this problem, just luck. You can take out the battery and try rebooting it again. You can wait till it just finishes going through its process, and make sure its charging so it wont die. Or you can send it back to virgin mobile for a new one. After it was charging for a day or two, I send my phone back to virgin for a new one.
Yes I agree with the above
thanks to each and everyone of you guys for the answers!
There are a couple of possibilities. First, it could have a bad battery; older batteries simply won't charge, no matter how long you put them on a charger. If that's not the problem, then you may have software problems with it (which is what it sounds like to me). You may need to reload the phone's operating system. To get the phone to stop, pull the battery out, and let it stay out for a minute or so. If your new phone has a compatible battery, pop that in to your old phone and see if it will work. Lastly, it's possible that there's something wrong with the phone itself. If that's the case, you'd simply need to have it repaired. Before you do anything drastic, pull the battery; if that doesn't work, get a new battery, charge it, and then try it. That's the cause of a lot of problems with cell phones, in my experience. If that doesn't fix the problem, then contact Virgin Mobile again (be sure to call from a different phone), and they may be able to tell you what your other options are. Good luck.
