Say i have a magnetic ball going on a copper rod bent in a circle and this circle is vertical (Looking at it sideways) How would i get the ball magnet to go arounf the cicrle i have tried the idea below (my image is not the best i am sorry) The x represent the copper circle and the dashes / #92; represent bar magnets. this is the idea i have tried and it does not work. It is not clear what you are asking. What do you mean by 'not working'? - the arrangement won't do anything special. The magnet weill simply slide to the bottom and stop. If you are trying a perpetual motion machine, it can't work; friction will turn the energy to heat and the movement will stop.
