ok so we have to do this thing where we pretend that were a toxic waste disposer thingy. I need to know how to dispose of copper chloride. Can you reuse it somehow? please help I can‘t find it on the internet. don‘t think i‘m being lazy and just asking straight away. Also please keep it in words an 8th grader can understand.Thanks.
Break it down into its components-Copper cations and Chloride anions. Dilute it with an aqueous solution. For example, water. Once you've done that, you can recollect its component ions to reuse it. Hope I helped a bit :)
if you added water, it would be harder to clean up. that would be like adding more water if you were bobbing for apples you could pass DC electricity into it and that would pull the copper to one side and turn it back into a bar of metal. or you could add a bass like sodium hydroxide and that would change the copper and make it fall out of the liquid. you could pour the liquid out and you would be left with the coppery powder.
