Question:

Need Information Dealing With Speakers?

I Have plenty of speakers and have no clue as to whether if they are good with sound or not. I know that the higher the ohms the better the speakers are. (I think) and would like a rating chart. For the rating chart please make it like this:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Type Of Speaker (Tweeter, Subwoofer, ect.)(Lowest Ohm Rating To Be Considered Decent) - (Best Ohm Rating Available For Best Speakers)Other Information Stating What Makes It Better--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Answer:

ohms dont have anything to do with quality, its the speaker manufacture and how many there are (like sub woofer, woofer, mid range, and tweeter. If only one speaker is trying to produce all the sound it will sound lesser of quality, the more the better) also consider the input. and the volume you are using them at (if given to much power it could kill the speakers or make a lousy sound)
Ohms (impedence) has nothing to do with speaker quality, but it is an important value when matching a speaker to a certain amplifier. If the speakers have model #, I suggest you browse the web and try to find. Their Frequency response (and distortion) Power rating (usually in RMS) Impedence (in Ohms)
