After installation, fill the engine with oil to the required liquid level. Run the engine for at least 3 minutes, then check to see if the oil is leaking. If there is a leak, tighten the filter until it is not leaking.

Install the new oil filter on the engine. When installing, screw in the new oil filter by hand. Contact the rubber seal with the end of the filter seat, then tighten it clockwise until about 3/4.

Apply a thin layer of oil to the rubber oil seal on the new oil filter;
