I just got a new mobile phone contract today and its my first one :)i got it of t-mobile and i was wondering if anyone knows how long it is until you can start using your texts and minutes of your contract?? like can you start using them straight away or do you have to wait a few days? cos i checked my balance on my phone and it said zero, but i'm not sure if that's just because it is the middle of the monthcan anybody tell me :D ha ha x
If you bought your contract today you should be able to use the phone straight away but sometimes it's not as smooth as that. You might have to register online and check that a payment has gone to T-Mobile, or sometimes the network just wants you to register before you can use your phone. It can sometimes take sometime for your balance to come through. When I got my contract it took about 5 days to start because there were some technical problems. If your balance doesn't increase within 2 days, ring T-Mobile.
you should be able to use your texts and minutes immediately after getting your phone.
