I bought a new sofa and it was delivered today. It has a slight smell to it, not too much but enough that you can smell it while sitting on it. It is a Franklin micro-fiber sofa. Will this go away soon? What can I do about it? would spraying fabreeze around the sofa and apartment be a good idea or would that be bad for the couches material? Thanks.
It could be a spray that they use to keep the fabric fresh and to keep the damp out. I had it with mine and it faded away after a few weeks. Your sofa has probably been wrapped up for a while and thats why it needs a good airing. You could spray febreeze, it wont do it any harm.
