Of the following elements, which one is most likely to form an ion through the loss of two electrons?

SodiumSulfurAluminumStrontiumChlorinePlease EXPLAIN!

Answer:

I had a mare who had hoof issues and a very flat foot despite my farrier working to change itShe literally did not grow a heel, so he used aluminum shoes with a wedge to get her angles rightThey worked very well for her and lasted through two shoeings I tried the plastic shoes on her one timeI am not sure if they were any worse, but I didn't like themI kept thinking they were slippery, and maybe it was just my perception, but I went back to the aluminum I have never tried titanium so can't comment on them.
Steel is cheapestWe trail ride all summer and fall long and lots of riding on the road in parades so we put on steel shoes with no slip grips on themIf your horses feet are in good shape ie no cracks and you dont do alot of riding or showing keep them barefootI have put on Aluminum shoes on my show horses because they are lighter shoes and help them travel betterPlastic horse shoes is that a joke lol can you imagine a 1200lb horse on plastic shoes theyd crack instantly lol
We have always used steel because aluminum wears down 2x as fast as the steel shoes doAnd my dad (who is now a retired farrier) never liked the aluminum shoes and had an oath to use steel shoes lol So we have always put steel on our horses and have never had any issues with them.
Metal shoes allow the hoof to breathe better than rubber or boots which cover the entire hoof but give more flexing plus the metal shoes are cheaper, the Titanium will out last the steel which out last the Aluminum or rubber and all can come with wedges for heels.
Strontium Strontium is an alkaline earth metal; these metals like to lose two electrons to obtain a noble gas configuration.
