Question:

help, i need to write a paper on how i made my battery!!!?

ok i need to say WHY and use proper names and everything.umm.so i used lemon juice in 2 cups and used a spoon in one and aluminum foil in the other and used aligater clips and wire to connect them.my salt bridge was a paper towl.i should explain why i used all these things.i really don't get it :( :(and it's due tomorrow and i want to go to college, so please help me as much as you can.you don't need to WRITE it for me, just tell me what to write!!!and I'll love you forever and ever and ever!!!THANK YOU!!!

Answer:

Talk to your vetDogs can succumb to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and your vet can medicate her for it, if that's the issue.
Does the rug possibly have some type of yarn or other type of fabric that came from an animal?
Does she get enough exercise? Perhaps she is boredOr maybe there is food in there? Lol Or perhaps you should cover the spot with something? Thats all I got xD
bitter Apple Spraythat's a medicated formulation you spray onto woundscanine (and cats) hate the style as that's a bitter bitter styleas a outcome preventing the licking and so forthOr go decrease back to the vets and ask for an even larger Elizabethan collar.
Ok, you really owe me for this oneWhat you need for a battery to work is A) a substance that gives electrodes (oxidizes) B) a substance that receives electrodes (reduces) C) a place in which this reaction happens (the electrodes), note that the electrodes themselves can participate in the reactionD) something that keeps electrical balanceThere must be an equal number of positive and negative charges inside a solution, so if a substance looses an electron, something negative must come into solution to compensate this (this is the salt bridge)Why you used the things you usedAluminium foil - The aluminium metal has a very strong tendency to oxidize, it gives up electrons Spoon - The spoon does not oxidize readily because the oxidation of stainless steel, or iron is less spontaneous than that of aluminium, instead it provides the surface in which the reduction happensThe specie that really reduces is the hydronium ion (H3O+, commonly expressed as H+), which is in solution as you added it with the lemon juice)You may have observed bubbles of hydrogen gas evolving from this electrodeLemon juice - It provides many things, being the most important the specie that reduces, Hydronium ionPaperl towel - the salt bridge mantains electrical neutralitywhen some aluminium oxidizes to Al3+ some negative ions on the tower enter the solution on that cup and when some H+ ions reduce to H2 some positive ions enter the solution on that cup I just hope you learned a lot !! :) and your welcome.
