Question:

once anything is turned into ashes, is it all the same?

so if you burn a leaf, then burn a peice of paper, are both of the ashes from the paper and leaf now the same? i mean do ashes have different consistencies?

Answer:

It all depends on the compounds and elements that make up the objectsFor example metals burn or oxidise (rust) but the compounds made are different from each other.they are all oxides, but aluminium becomes aluminium oxide; iron becomes iron oxide, etc Check what the paper and leaf contain in terms of their elements.
