Question:

Ore characteristics of Muscovite

Ore characteristics of Muscovite

Answer:

Broken white jade deposits, muscovite generally accounted for 50 - 70%, potassium feldspar and quartz accounted for about 10%, trace minerals are magnetite and limonite.
Ores include muscovite and its subspecies (sericite) and rarer sodium mica; in industry, especially in the electrical industry, muscovite and mica are often used. The chemical formula of Muscovite is KAl2 (AlSi3010) (OH) 2, in which SiO245.2%, Al2O338.5%, K2O11.8%, H2O4.5%, in addition, contain a small amount of Na, Ca, Mg, Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe and F and so on.
The main minerals of Muscovite biotite pegmatite ore are plagioclase, feldspar, quartz and muscovite. The minor minerals are biotite, Fe Al garnet, tourmaline, apatite, beryl and ilmenite.
