Question:

Palestinians do you remember Rachel Corrie and her bravery?

On the 16th of March 23 year old, Rachel Corrie an American Peace Activist was murdered by an Israeli bulldozer while she was trying to prevent the home of a Palestinian family from being demolished.

Answer:

I'm sorry for her, but if you lie down or sit in front of a bulldozer which has a limited view then you are responsible for your own death. The fact that it was a combat zone was doubly stupid, would you walk around Helm and province in Afghanistan without a weapon or some sort of body armour and expect to live?
Rachel Corrie essentially committed suicide by her actions in Hamas-controlled Gaza. While I share the sadness about Corrie’s passing on March 16, 2003, I am concerned why so much has been made about it when compared with the numerous premature deaths of American and Israeli innocent victims of Palestinian suicide bombings. Why is there a double standard here? You ignore the role played by the Palestinian-based ISM, which was to blame for Corrie’s untimely death when it encouraged her and other members to put themselves in harm’s way in a war zone. The Israel Defense Forces were engaged in legitimate counter-terror operations to protect Israeli civilians from indiscriminate Palestinian terrorist attacks. Without a doubt, her death was accidental. .
It's so sad that the media chose to ignore this tragedy just for the sake of keeping a good image of Israel.
funny how destruction of somebody's home is called a &military operation&. And she wasn't in Israel- that's the point isn't it? Also the details of the investigation proceeding were never released and done behind close doors. No primary evidence was introduced (all hearsay) and the testimony of SEVEN international eyewitnesses was not included. Don't forget that British nationals Tom Hurndall and James Miller were killed in a seven week period the same time as Rachel, guess the IDF couldn't see them either. What is even more disgusting is the claims by some Zionist that Rachel was aiding and abetting murderers; the home she was standing in front of belonged to a pharmacist. What is also of concern is that the IDF story has changed, first saying that the bulldozer was just clearing debris, then admitting the house was targetted. When ask why a spotter wasn't there (as required by the IDF's OWN regulations) the commander said there was sniper fire. Later this was ammended- he said that Israeli soldiers may have been handling other ISM activists instead of watching over the bulldozer. Let's look at it honestly, if the bulldozer driver (a member of the IDF) had purposely killed an American citizen, do you think the Israeli goevernment would EVER admit it? @dandyl, there was never an extensive investigation, there was never an examination of evidence at the scene, there was only a breif questioning of the driver and THAT'S IT! Witnesses at the scene were not questioned, nor was the fact that the bulldozer was being operated contrary to the IDF's own standards brought up.
I'm not Palestinian but I remember her I'll always remember her bravery , she was crushed by the Israeli bulldozer when she was trying to stop the savage israelis from destroying a civilian Palestinian house , that's how she was &MURDERED& , not like these mother ****** Israelis claiming
