Ok I have been planing on doing a full upgrade,even thought it might be as late as income tax time before I can,and well I got bored so I decided to do go ahead try to pick out some parts.I'm kinda wondering if you guys could help me with it?I've got some ideas,but i don't know a lot about hardware,I may be picking stuff that is not good for the price,I will list the parts i considering at the end of the post,if you can suggest parts that might be better than what i have picked please do so,cause i'm open to any idea's you guys have.
first off cant really pick stuff this far in advance, especially since bulldozer is still a great big unknown. 7xxx series videocards will likely by out by this time as well. not to mention intels ivy bridge. but crossfiring 6870s i wouldnt even recommend now. im planning on 6950's for sept when i upgrade
AMD bulldozer, thats 8 cores. No application takes use of more than 4 cores to date. Try this: i5 2500k CPU Nvidia Geforce GTX 580 1.5mb GPU Corsair AX750W Obsidian 650D case Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard 4-8 GB Ripjaws RAM Gskill (make sure it's 2 sticks) WD Caviar Black 1tb 7200rpm CPU cooler Hyper 212 plus and mouse, keyboard, and monitor your choice
