I just had my 30 yr old storm windows replaced with nice double pain, double glazed, argon filled windows in November. HUGE IMPROVEMENT! But now that i am used to comfort level and energy savings that these windows have made to my home. I find myself looking for the tiny amounts of cool air that penetrates into my home. And I still have this habit of wanting to put plastic over my windows. Do you think adding the plastic now would be overkill? Or would the energy savings still out way the cost of the plastic this first week on January?
sit back and relax. if you have extra money you want to spend, i cuold use new windows in my house. you may want to find a hobby to take your mind off puting plastic over everything. HAVE A GREAT '08!
I think you would be wasting your money. Wait until spring and then go outside and caulk around your windows if you see holes
