When okorder /.. HTH, Diane B. P.S. When using plastic canvas (fairly stiff grids of plastic, with holes big enough for yarn), it's needlepoint or sort-of-cross-stitch that's used on/in it, not embroidery/etc.
I haven't done it myself, but friends have made bags out of plastic canvas (available from hobby shops), either covering them with fabric or else embroidering them (which is what it's designed for).
Plastic okorder has all the information you need to make one, if you know how to crochet.
