Please give me the name of foods or anything rich in calcium?
Dairy products, calcium fortified orange juice, broccoli, canned salmon, navy beans, almonds,mustard greens, spinach,collard greens,turnips. age 19-50 require 1000mg a day, Over 50 requires 1200mg a day. Supplements.your body can only absorb 600mg at a time. Take supplements with food for better absorption. Be sure you take a calcium supplement gets absorbed and not passed in the stool. Dairy, milk products like milk, and cheese are good sources of calcium. So are anti-acid pills like Tums and Rolaids. The calcium compound is the active ingredient. Personally I like string cheese.
