You should not judge a person on something like this, he may be a great guy and an asset to the neighborhood. Thanks for the email, I did assume you meant a man my mistake. The same goes for a woman, being a transsexual does not make a person bad. It is how you treat others that really matters not your color, sexual preference or religious belief that should matter. Actions are what is important.
Simple! Buy a pair of rubber gloves. Take one of the gloves and fit the open end over the detector head so it is snug. Curl hair and remember to remove it when you are done :) It's a smoke alarm by the way. No idea if it is an ionisation or optical type though.
