You could remove it from the startup, but that wouldn't actually remove it. it's likely that it's installed in another place or theres another copy installed. You could do a search of your computer for lime wire. Not everything thats installed shows up in the control panel, especially if you removed a different copy. if you want to remove it from the startup... (this is for XP, I think its the same for 2k, not sure about vista) go to start/run... msconfig go to both the services and startup tabs and uncheck any entries related to LimeWire, it should be named LimeWire. hope this helps, if not repost and say what your OS is (Win XP/Vista/Mac version) and the version of limewire you're having problems with. Include both the version number and whether or not it's limewire lite. You could also PM me if you like.
