Car broke down after driving less then a quarter of a mile.did they accidentally put oil in? did they put something in the oil which caused it? The ford place has it and quoute on quote said what the heck did sears do there is oil overflowed Please help

Answer:

its sears what you expect thats where all the joke mechanics work they beat on the car's while bringing em in and **** THERE IS NO REASON TO NEED TO PUT A FUEL ADDITIVE IN AT ALL WHATSO EVER
As i live in England, the only Sears i know of sell catalogues. The mistake you made was not going back to Sears when your car broke down. Ford will charge you to put right whatever Sears have done, and Sears won't pay for the work because Ford have 'messed' with the car. Now you will get Ford saying Sears did one thing and Sears denying it, with you, sadly, stuck in the middle. I know it doesn't help much, but you should always take your car to someone who you trust and always get a quote which contains the actual work to be done beforehand. Always ask to see any parts that have been replaced afterwards too. Any work needing to be done should always be asked for permission from you BEFORE it is done. You may have asked for a 'tune up', but they may have heard 'service'. A service usually includes an oil change. They may have put an additive such as Reddex into your tank. It is designed for cleaning out any build up in your fuel system. You would normally add a cap full when you fill up the tank. See if you can get a written report from Ford and take it to Sears to get some money back for whatever Ford charge you and some money off the Sears bill too. Had it been me and my car broke down after half a mile after collecting it, i'd have marched straight back to the garage and gone into EXTREME OFFENSIVE mode
I can get tires changed here for $20.00 each, if I take the wheel off and bring them into the shop, that's pretty cheap. Double that if you want them to take the wheel off. That's just the labor, you still gotta buy the tires, minimum $100.00 each, and up, way up.
Different rang of tire from 50$ to 250$.and you also ask about the labor cost which is about 25$ to 45$
Cheaper? Now you know why! Cheaper is never better!
