Problems with dormitory beds
The computer desk is placed on the desktop of the computer. When we work too long and want to rest with our hands on our heads for a while, we will find that the design of the current desktop is very inconsistent with the needs of ergonomics. A rectangular tabletop gives a sense of rigidity, and touching one side of the body restricts people's behavior. Our team decided to design a table with a certain radian on the side of the table, which would allow us to rest and support, as well as add vitality to the work area under the bed.
Bed space, when you are in bed warm quilt, want to read something, it will be very inconvenient, because there is no suitable table on the bed, there is no place to put books or small objects platform. There is no cushion on the headboard. For this problem, our group is equipped with a small flat panel which can be turned off on the head of the bed, and can be placed down as a small working platform. It can also be folded as a backrest, and the book is just resting on it before going to bed. Near the wall, we'll have a 300mm board with just the book on the bed, and a reading light.
But now the box structure has defects and disadvantages in design, which brings a lot of inconvenience to users. Although it has less space, it has many inconveniences for users. If you wash your feet or have a little water on your feet, you will feel very easily sliding when you climb the bed ladder! Give users a dangerous aura. Therefore, in view of this problem, our group will change the traditional shelf bed ladder to the cabinet lockers and the bed ladder between two beds, which will improve the safety of bed and make full use of the space here. And solid wood material, even in winter, will not be so cold.
As far as we know the dormitory furniture, we will find many design problems when we observe and investigate. Through the use of all of our own view, we believe that the design of reasonable box type bed is ideal for the student dormitory, but also more realistic student bed.
