I have an electrical problem on my 1996 Dodge Dakota which is soon to be solved, and i already peeled tape off the wiring harness to find shorted wires. Can i use old bicycle inner tubes with zip ties instead of retaping the wiring harness?
Would not recommend this. The rubber in tubes is not oil, gas, or heat resistant. Wire loom is cheap and available at most auto stores.
