I've got some girly crap that I never wear, so I want to make it look awesome by decorating it and whatnot. I already know you can do safety pins, patches, stuff like that. Do you have any sweet ideas? I kind of know how to sew, and have a sewing machine. I should say that I don't have any money either, since I'm 15 and can't really go out and get a bunch of money. I'm not looking for punk store suggestions or anything like that. Thanks.
Smoke detectors in bedrooms and hallways, never in the kitchen. Unless you want to know when someone burns the toast.
Move it. It does not belong in the kitchen and especially above the oven. That is why you are getting false alarms.
Relocate it away from the stove. Preferable locations for smoke detectors in the kitchen is ceiling area located 12 inches from the door to the kitchen an center line of the door.
I would look at the door lock actuator as a culprit. It has one of these in each door.
There are two types of smoke detectors, ionization and photoelectric. Ionization detectors are very sensitive to smoke and steam. Avoid using them near bathrooms and kitchens. Photoelectric detectors use light as their sensor. They are not as sensitive because there has to be enough smoke to block the light beam and trip the sensor. Highly recommended for your application, unless this is the only detector near any bedrooms.
