My mom is making my Grandmothers Enchilada pie and shes afraid it is going to spill over while cooking and get on the bottom of her ovenIs it bad to put a cookie sheet under the Enchilada pie to catch the spill, or will it effect the cooking process? By under I mean on a lower rack.Thank you :)
I've done it with other dishes and it was fineI usually cover the cookie sheet with aluminum foil to avoid messy clean up and actually place the pie or food item on the cookie sheet to bake.
