I bought three 8 inch round aluminum wilton cake pans tonightThe label inside the pan came right off, but the label on the outside will NOT come off! I have tried the following: soaking in hot soapy water, heating the pan, mineral oil, cooking spray, scrubbing, scraping, freezing and alchoholO am ready to throw the pans out the window! Any good ideas for getting this glue off! The paper part of the label came off easily while the entire glue strip stays onIt almost looks like white paint.

Either buy some Goo Gone or use some nail polish remover on a cotton ballThen wash the pan to remove factory oils.
